STRONG is an outreach program offered to the youth and teens of Norristown. The STRONG program is focused on providing educational, recreational, social and community service activities for Norristown youth and teens yearround.The STRONG program is made possible through grants, corporate sponsors and support of Norristown Area School District. Camp STRONG provides weekly themed programs that reinforce the goals of the program.
• Children must have completed Kindergarten and be of
age prior to June 14, 2011.
• Campers participate in age-appropriate programs including arts/crafts, games, life skills and weekly
field trips.
• Meals & snacks are provided by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
• Campers swim daily at Norristown High School Pool.
• Fridays will include trips to Mill Grove for outdoor workshops, hiking & wildlife programs.a
