it's a bird, it's a plane . . . it's the 2nd annual on-ground Quidditch Tournment

Monday and Tuesday of this week brought us back into the world of wands and wizards, potions and Patronus charms. It was time for Quidditch again and with Mr. Nick's rehabilitated and newly shiny (seriously they are gold) hoops, we were off for an intense single round elimination tournament the likes of which we've never seen before (unless you count last year).

Our participants were psyched to hear that they would once again get a chance to ride like the wind on their trusted Nimbus 2000 (Read- run around the field trying to score).

But even with the their transportation limitations, they still proved fierce competitors.

And while the Beater's boppers were hard to avoid . . .

Our athletic prowess and determination could not be answered (Fact- none of her feet are on the ground right now- no broom necessary)
But ultimately, it was Mohawks 2 that proved victorious- an amazing feat in their hard-won victory over  Cayuga.

So basically, it was awesome! Can't wait for next year . . . unless of course we have time for a rematch later in the summer.
